Anyone interested in learning AutoCAD is invited. No prior drafting experience is necessary, but one must have basic Windows and mouse skills. Each class teaches commands and techniques used in any version of AutoCAD. Every class involves hands on drafting exercises designed to enable the participant to become confident while learning basic drafting skills and creating accurate CAD drawings. As the levels
increase, earlier commands and techniques also progress.
The learning curve for a new computer skill is always a challenge. However, in this course you will see quick results. As you are introduced to the AutoCAD interface, you will get right to work creating and saving your first drawing. You will learn various commands and techniques including: lines, circles, how to erase/delete, zoom, ortho, snap, distance, list, the command line, status bar, modelspace, toolbars, pull downs and workspaces. You will be proud to see what you can accomplish in such little time!
