Advanced Portrait Photography 11/05/2020 - 12/15/2020 $379.00

This class will cover the techniques of studio and outdoor portrait photography. Classes take place in an operating photography studio. Lighting, from a single light source to multiple light set-ups, is discussed and practiced in great detail. In addition, metering, balancing multiple lights, light modification, proper exposure, white balance and posing and lighting for portraits are demonstrated and practiced, in the studio & outdoors. This is a very hands-on class. Students must provide a camera that is capable of being operated on full manual exposure, a good working knowledge of its use and a willingness to work in a group. Highly recommended, optional book purchase of $21 – details to be sent closer to class start date. $379

Floristry II 11/07/2020 - 11/07/2020 $200.00

Students will gain more detailed instruction in floral design. All supplies are furnished. Students should have basic knowledge of floral design or have taken our Basic Floristry course. Jewelry Making for Beginners 11/07/2020 - 11/07/2020 $120.00

Jewelry making is fun and it is a creative way to express who you are with a fashionable end-result. In this 4-hour seminar class, you will learn the basics of making jewelry. This will include making necklaces with fine wire, how to make both drop earrings and post earrings, as well as how to work with memory wire for bracelets. Remember, Christmas is just around the corner. Handcrafted jewelry will make delightful gifts.
Learn about/how to:
• The basic terminology of jewelry making
• What glue works best on what surface
• Work with jump rings for earrings and charms
• What a bail and bezel are and how do you use them
• Make bracelets using memory wire
• Learn how to wire wrap earrings
• Learn to make necklaces with wire
• How to attach a wire protector and crimp bead cover

The instructor will provide you with everything you need including tools. However, if you have your own tools you would like to bring, feel free to do so. $120, ages 12 & up
